Who Cares if the Ground Hog got it right, Spring is STILL Coming! I promise.
Spring is Springing! Yay! I just came inside from shooting a video outside and WOW! It’s nice out! Yes, I realize that when you get this and read it that it could be cold and rainy, but those cold days are just about over. Everyone loves Spring, primarily because it means… summer is near!
For many across this great country though, it’s still COLD, grey, and snowy! One thing is for sure, this winter season is coming to an end. It does every year without fail.
Just like the weather seasons come and go, so do the seasons of life. I just turned 53, my youngest is in high school and my oldest just graduated from college and recently working in the same field with me. Are you with me when I say that these seasons seem to come and go faster and faster as well as the time?
Some of life’s seasons will be HOT and others will be COLD, some high and some low. The lows we want to move by quickly, the highs we want to stay in forever. But it’s the low points, those tough times, that I have learned the most from. All of the experiences through these seasons make me who I am.
So, what does this have to do with you and real estate?

With all the beauty this Springtime brings, there is also the ugly for some. At the end of a long day, there’s nothing quite like coming back to a warm house, with family and friends. When you’ve been working or it’s cold outside, home is the place you dream of coming back to. But for some people, that’s not an option that exists.
Here is a photo of myself proudly donating more money to Greenwood Area Habitat for Humanity. We’re doing more of that! We’re able to give more! This because of so many of our great clients doing business with us and referring those they know wanting to buy or sell. THANK YOU!

We are on a mission to raise $25,000 for GREENWOOD AREA HABITAT FOR HUMANITY!. We do this by donating to them a portion of our income from homes we sell. As you know Habitat for Humanity doesn’t just help families attain the American Dream of homeownership—the organization’s “hand up” approach helps lift families out of poverty and puts them on the road to self-sufficiency. In the short term, Habitat for Humanity increases homeownership; in the long term, its work helps to reduce the need for government subsidies.
Most don’t know though that Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit, so they depend on donations to provide their world-class service and keep families’ housing costs to a minimum.
